Build a career story around what you actually did.

When candidates describe a course, they often talk about modules, tools and certificates. Employers, however, frequently need to understand how someone approaches a problem, makes decisions and communicates an outcome.

Start with the problem

A strong project story begins with context: what was happening, who needed an answer, what constraints existed and what success looked like.

Explain the work

Document the choices you made. What data or information did you use? Which tools helped? What assumptions did you test? Where did you change direction?

Finish with the outcome

Close with the result and your recommendation. Even a simulated project can demonstrate structured thinking when the assumptions and limitations are clear.
